Illex Blade Blaster Chatterbait

The BLADE BLASTER will be your new go-to lure for fishing shallow areas, weed beds and round trees and bushes. This bladed jig was created in collaboration with ILLEX Pro-Staff angler Marc Ptacovsky and our product manager Thomas Vogels.

Marc wanted to combine two types of lures into one. Firstly he wished to retain the shape of the Swim-Jig head 'JUNGLE BLASTER' with its ability to glide over obstacles and penetrate through weeds. Then he combined this head with a bespoke metallic blade that emits very attractive signals and a sizeable silicone skirt that works as soon as the lure hits the water. Depending on fishing conditions, the BLADE BLASTER can be equipped with a soft lure as a trailer to add more volume; a 'pin-tail' type like our MAGIC SWING TAIL 4 or 5, a 'shad' type like the MAGIC SLIM SHAD 4 or 5, or simply a crayfish like the CHUNK CRAW. Of course, the BLADE BLASTER is 'lead-free'! Designed primarily for pike fishing, it is also suitable for targeting other species like perch, black bass, zander, and catfish.
